Going all OUT for Outreach is a micro-credentialing program that addresses a range of workforce issues in the health sector.
Funded by the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training (DESBT), the program is working in partnership with industry to design, develop and deliver micro-credential courses for health professionals and organisations currently engaged in the delivery of outreach health services.
The aim of the Going all OUT for Outreach Micro-credentialing Program is to ensure that health providers have the appropriate knowledge and skills to respond to the complexity of Outreach work and can confidently identify skill needs and provide upskilling to the local workforce and supervision to students.
Eligibility
The program is available to both existing and new service providers contracted to deliver Outreach services through CheckUP, as well as Outreach host facilities.
Expressions of interest are sought for participants in the new program which is being developed for CheckUP Outreach service providers and host facilities. This training opportunity will be available free of charge to existing and new providers in 2024 and, after November 2024, be offered to other interested health organisations and health providers.
