Get ready for the #GoHealth Careers Expo, an interactive, immersive health career experience with simulated scenarios that brings healthcare to life!

Join us at the #GoHealth Careers Expo, where dreams meet reality. Save the date and be part of shaping the future of Queensland’s health workforce!

  • Date: 13 June 2024
  • Venue: Royal International Convention Centre (RICC), RNA Showgrounds
  • Time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

This event is a unique collaboration between Queensland Health, Health Gateway to Industry Schools Program and health organisations across Queensland, designed to connect students with industry leaders and open doors to exciting healthcare prospects.

The expo features live demonstrations, mock health facilities, and information booths offering insights into school- based traineeships and work experience opportunities. Teachers won’t miss out, with professional development sessions scheduled throughout the day. Parents are also invited to register and attend, along with community members keen on discovering the diverse career opportunities within the health sector.

Each school will be allocated a 2hr time slot the walk through the event with no limit on the number of students attend. Each school must ensure adequate supervision of their students.

The Department of Health, Queensland Government is a major sponsor of this initiative.
