Want to be part of an organisation helping to make a difference in the lives of others? We encourage you to apply for any vacancies that arise.  Currently there are no jobs being advertised.

Why work with us?

Working at CheckUP means that you get access to a range of great benefits to help maximise your income, create a positive work life balance, and develop your skills and experience.

Salary packaging

As a not-for-profit organisation we are able to offer our employees access to some tax savings through salary packaging. There are a number of components to salary packaging that you can take advantage of to reduce your taxable income and increase your take home pay.

To find out more, please visit our Salary Packaging provider Eziway.

Leave benefits

In addition to regular leave entitlements such as annual and personal leave, employees are also able to access other CheckUP specific leave such as purchased leave, paid and unpaid parental leave, cultural leave, paid study leave, and up to seven days of gifted leave while the office closes during the Christmas period.

Flexible arrangements

We are seen by our people as an organisation that supports a healthy work-life balance. Of course, there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach, so we encourage everyone to explore the flexible arrangements available to their role. Flexible work arrangements can include work from home days and varied start and finish times.

Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program is a key support service offered to CheckUP employees to help you manage the challenges, concerns, or issues that may be affecting you at work or home. The Employee Assistance Program operates independently of CheckUP and provides confidential, personal coaching, counselling and wellbeing support services.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Staff Mentoring Program

CheckUP has a mentoring program designed to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff. Through this program, CheckUP provides valuable support to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, helping them overcome challenges and thrive in their professional journeys.

Selection process

CheckUP aspires to have a workforce that reflects the diverse community we serve, and as such we strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people with experience living or working in rural areas. We welcome applications from people with disability, LGBTQIA+, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and workers of all ages.

All appointments are based on merit. All applicants are considered based on their abilities, qualifications, experience and standard of work. If you are chosen for an interview, you will be contacted by phone. Reference checks will follow. No referees will be contacted without consent.

You must be able to provide evidence of your right to work in Australia to work at CheckUP.

Successful applicants must complete a satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.

CheckUP has a strong commitment to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children and youth. We therefore have robust screening procedures for personnel who are expected to have contact with children in their roles. This will include a Working with Children Check.

The health and safety of our employees and stakeholders is our number one priority. This means that all of our employees and volunteers must be fully vaccinated and maintain full vaccination for COVID-19 as a condition of employment/engagement. Proof of vaccination will be required by the successful candidate.

All offers of employment will be made subject to satisfactory completion of such employment checks.
