CheckUP visits Papunya in the Northern Territory!
CheckUP’s Be Well Learn Well Business Lead, Elise Gorman and Deputy CEO Karen Hale-Robertson visited Papunya, (Northern Territory) in November to meet with the local school, community leaders and health service providers. The team travelled with consultant Michael McGregor from PwC Indigenous Consulting and discussed the implementation of the Allied Health in Remote Schools Project (AHRSP) into the local school.
Papunya is a small remote Aboriginal community located approximately 240kms northwest of Alice Springs. We look forward to rolling out the project in 3 communities in the NT over the next three years.
Funding for the AHRSP has been provided by the Australian Government.
