CheckUP launches latest Health In Focus report.
Today CheckUP was proud to launch our 7th annual Health in Focus survey results. Over 15 CheckUP members attended the launch and got to hear the results collated from the annual Health in Focus survey, which asks the General Public of Queensland and health professionals from across the Primary Health Care sector about what improvements are needed to deliver better health services.
With many changes occurring across the primary health care space, including nationally and statewide, it is a crucial piece of work that CheckUP undertakes each year to gain insight into the impact of what's working and what needs further support. In 2014 the general public were included in the survey collection process, which allowed for the 2015 report to gain further insight into comparing changes among public perceptions on health care services.
6 key themes on ways to improve health service delivery were identified, from both health professionals and general public, which helps us to form a clear understanding of the potential work that needs to be undertaken to help bridge the gaps in knowledge and practice that informs a more integrated and person centred health care system.
